Google offers at least $880 million to LG display for OLED investment: Electronic Times
Google Inc has offered to contribute no less than 1 trillion won ($880.29 million) to help South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd support yield of natural light-radiating diode (OLED) screens for cell phones, the Electronic Times gave an account of Monday refering to anonymous sources.



The paper said Google offered the venture to secure a steady supply of adaptable OLED screens for its next Pixel cell phones. Samsung Electronics Co Ltd's lead Galaxy cell phones utilize the bendable showcases, while Apple Inc is relied upon to begin utilizing them in at any rate some of its next iPhones.

LG Display declined to remark, while Google couldn't be promptly gone after remark.
